I thought that it lacked contrast. This could have been from the camera's meter trying to make the image a neutral gray. I do like what Sam did with Lightroom but that was probably not enough to make we go back to my Lightroom courses.

I like the close crop to the face. A little catch light in the eyes might add a little life to them. It seems like there might be a little yellow cast from the interior lighting. |

I thought that this was a bench. There is so much snow that it is hard to see that it is actually a dog. You have good exposure without much burning out and still good detail throughout. I would like to see a little cropping on the right so the tree branch hanging down would help frame the head of the dog. |

I really like the low key mood with the rain at night. The lights lead the eye to your subject of the the couple. I agree that some of the bottom could be cropped off. I am bothered by the angle of the lines on the left. This could be corrected by skewing the image in the bottom left corner. |

The scene seems to be fairly nicely lit through out. I like the way that the stairs leads you toward the sculpture in the upper right even though it is overexposed. I do find that the bright window and the sculpture do seem to draw my eye in two directions. Maybe it would help to combine two images, one exposed for the interior and the other for the exterior outside the window. Another option would be to take this later in the day when there was less light outside. |
