Lovely, Dennis...happy Holidays. I am dropping out of Study Groups, so I thought I would just say how much I thank you since you were my first study group many years ago. |

Thanks, Sharon. I will continue to see you on FB and on PSA from time to time and I will be active posting my images on FB, Nikonians.org and BetterPhoto.com. I am active leading a 30 member monthly meeting and exhibiting Photography Club at the Senior Living Independent living facility my wife and I live in as well as leading a 140 plus Men's group with weekly speakers and programs and co-chairing with my wife who is a level 3 Sommelier a 110 member Wine Club. That, plus our extensive travels, keep me very busy. I wanted to step down from this at PSA, so I could squeeze out more time during the month to go doing some photography, keep these programs I am responsible running, and still do other things like reading, processing old pictures again, and doing travelogues, etc. I just re-edited this one again that was taken some 8 years ago. At 80 years of age, I am still busy as I can be, but shifting priorities. |

It is beautiful music, too, as well as an interesting Scottish Legend. |

I really like your image, Jerry. it sparkles with history, story, Americana, turn of the century realism, handsome depth of field, sharpness and tonal. While Walker Evans provides a much more intimate landscape view that is truly unique, I find your view point so much more appealing in that it gives me a wider sense of time, size and space for this towns place in our history. The layers within the scene offers me so much to view and think about. WELL DONE! |

I like Number 3 Original. It has the most interesting texture and tonal truth. The others seem, to my eye, to have more muddy elements within the image. |

I like your image. It has nice tone. I suggest a little selective shadow opening on the Scottish cow below the horns. |
