Don, I agree. I have subsequently toned it down with some contract reduction exposure shift and related adjustments to control the highlight even more even though the histogram said everything was ok. Thanks for your insight. |

Stuart....wonderful texture in the bark. I think Jerry is spot on about the negative space. |

Keisha, your image is very interesting. It appears composed well. However, the whites are way too white in the foreground two persons for my taste and I find the background distracting and not an enhancement regarding what they do for the image and the blurred people have a distracting white halo effect. |

Jerry, I like the image. I think it is wonderfully composed and all buildings complement each other well in tonality and relationship. It is a well layered hand of man landscape. I struggle a little with the darkness 3 kayakers closest to left part of the waterworks. I am distracted by wanting to seeing more...some detail, enough for me not to get continuously drawn to them to see more. Perhaps they could be lighted a little. I feel the same with the color version. |

Don, Like your image a lot. The composition is really great. In this case the people don't bother me in the least and if you remove people or reduce the number of them, it changes the story, which is OK. Then you can create two different images using the same image that's always worth considering, depending upon the message that you want to give someone flow of expansiveness and the overall tonality is pleasing to me. |

It was person by person subtraction from the image that I performed using the software tool. Regarding, which image I chose all I can say, everyone who visits Ephesus will seek that one that fits your request and I even could, but I prefer this view for my story and the overall perspective that it showed. |
