I understand your perspective. We just tend to see things differently. |

Way too dark and full of contrast for my taste. It lost its beauty. It lost its glory! |

I think Chris is on target. Your image has fine composition. I think the face should be lighter and the light bones should be darker. |

Beautiful image, Stuart. The composition and how my eye flows through the image is delightful and dramatic. I too think a slight (very slight) increase in the whites of the trails is worth investigating. |

It is a very lovely image with excellent tonal range and interesting overall monochrome variation in tone. I find your process is very interesting. My only nit, is that little bit of brighter blue in the eye of the bird. |

Stan, this image stands out among the many you submit with wonderful composition, story and subject focus and detail as well as with just the right amount of contrast and dynamic range. Well Done. |

Chris, this is a beautiful image. I have no suggestions, for I believe you nailed it. |

I like the Symmetry very much. I think a little more contrast and finding a way to let the back wall draw my eye to it more would improve the image. Then that focal point that others comment on might become more evident. Depending on how you plan to use the image, I suggest using some contact aware to remove the conduit, wire and electrical junction box on each foreground column. My eye find them distracting. |
