I really like the tones, composition and textures. I am wonder what you think about cropping above the window pane. T think the story would be complete without them drawing my eyes down to then. |

What a marvelous moment with contrasting elements. The straight up and down full ahead pass of the security guard on his mission to get where he is going to bring refreshment for himself and others. I agree with the comments. When I first viewed the image I was quite taken with the story. I wish you could have snapped the image a slight bit earlier to get the full face of the dog and then the story would be complete. What a delightful moment. Very nicely done. |

This is a lovely scene. I feel as if there the mood, mist, dampness, a calm and wonder of the many birds in this one place. I think, there is a slight slant downward as my eye transits left to right. |

Stan,
I find you image excellent. It has a lot of character and the rich contrasting white and black tones are very pleasing. The eyes look fine to me. I do not find any reflection in the eyes distracting. |

Chris has said it all. I like the image very much. The composition works as does the tonality and contrast. |

I like the theme and story, its composition and tone. I believe it would work better if sharper with a bit more contrast. |

Thanks. Exactly. It is great for some travelogue programs I am doing. While I have done a lot of exhibitions and contests in the past, Now at 80 years old, I just do what I enjoy the best I can. I use to Judge competitions, but now just enjoy and know that I can delight in a less then perfect in all aspects image. This Study Group just helps me stay "tuned up" so to speak. |

There may be imperfect lens correction, I agree. However, I stopped while I was sort of ahead from my point of view. I thought it interesting and artistic given the unique architectural design that included Moorish and difficultly to lens correct. I, too, might think it has a trifle lean....circular plane correction isn't easy sometimes. I might have over sharpened the image to cause the outline or it was function of the Nik software feature for soft high structure. |
