I find the only item in this image that captures my attention and tells a story is the woman. While the monochrome conversion is good, I have no clue what the mock soldiers are doing and why. I think that is due to the angle of view. It seems muddled with too much compactness for me to find a real subject and some level of simplicity. I feel left to having to figure it out instead of it tell me what it is. |

I find the image detail on the bridge very good. However, the person on the bridge is blurred and perhaps over processed and the composition trouble me. The topical area on right is distracting and takes my eye away from everything else. The sky looks sort of funky (either over processed or over softened with blur blending into various other details. I think you need to restart the process on this one. |

The face of the man draws me into your image. While I might have a little bit of concern about the software in other areas of the image due to perhaps, if you recall, some camera movement as well as the fluttering wings, I find the image a wonderful capture of a moment in time. It could be sharper and thus might not be viewed by some as competition material, it nonetheless is very captivating. I find the detail of the man's face very attractive to help me find a focus and subject in this image. |

Wonderful image. I agree with Don and Chris. In all other ways even with the little imperfections due to it being plant life are insignificant to me and the image is beautiful with a lot fine detail and subtle charm in the Mono that the Color doesn't quite offer. |

This is a lovely monochrome image with an exquisite story, dynamism, and tonal range. The image, in no way, looks over processed and it looks like a nice amount of sharpness and clarity. My only thought is the sky could use a little more structure and contrast. |

I like the Action and the contrast. I can feel the spray, feel the energy as it makes recall similar photo experiences. My only suggestion is to do a little bit of selective dodging on the rocks at the bottom up pick up a little detail in the blacks. I also wonder about putting a frame on the digital projection in order to help define the limits of the image. |

Good dialogue response. It is truly a worthy perspective. I will comment soon in more detail, but wanted to encourage you to do exactly what you did. This may very well foster more dialogue on the issue of what is not in focus and how it is perceived by a viewer. |
