Jerry, the two span works for me. Perhaps a little more curve adjustment to add some pop...Very nice bridge. |

Here is my prior edit of the color before the conversion to mono. |

On this one, I am in the camp with Chris. I do think the mono is way too contrasting. I think the image is very interesting and the rock is magnificent. I offer an idea created with Lightroom to edit the color some to give it more contrast and not so flat and then convert to high structure in DxO Nik Silver Efex Pro 3. |

Terrific image. I like it very much and can not offer any suggestions. I like it as it is. |

Stan, I agree with some of the other comments and particularly the pixelation in various areas. The overall facade does seem to reflect some lens distortion and even when I tried to adjust it Lightroom, I had trouble getting the main entrance facade and the tower to align using aspect ratio and horizontal adjustments. Despite that, I like the image for its interesting tone, composition and included elements that provide a sense of story, place and interest. |

Chris, the light is wonderful in this image. It sets a wonderful mood and there are multiple layers of interest as I look through the image. I feel I can reach out and not only see but also feel the water and the murky scum on the top of it as one finds in a swamp. My only suggestion would open the shadows at the left just very slight tad to see into the swamp a little more there. Excellent image. |

Don, the image does work for me, but I have to say it is interesting for I think I can pick out some faces given your title. Without that in the title, I doubt I would have seen them for the door gloomy and spooky tonality. I thought it was bones of the dead. I just don't know what to suggest. I read the other comments and still am not sure how to think about it. Perhaps, the color original might help me. If anything it seems so hight of contrast that I am not sure where to look. |
