I believe this is an image that is an Excellent capture of the banister details. The tonal range within the image and the sharpness is splendid. |

I think you have created a wonderful image full of fine tonality and lovely curves. I do wish the leaves were not there. At first I was thinking, "what an odd place for a signature", but the reality it is dark enough to pull my eye out of the wonderful flow of the image. |

Your image is wonderful, Stan. However, I do agree with Jerry that lightening the sky above the clouds might be a nice enhancement. Overall, the panoramic drama of the scene is very, very compelling. |

I like how you lightened the face of the surfer in the monochrome version. I think I might like more the color version for its luminosity if the surfers face was lighter. I find the monochrome a just a bit flat in tone overall, but love the luminosity in the right center of the wave. |

I find the composition and subject interesting. I feel the image a bit too contrasty for my taste, particularly the upper left of the building might be lightened some. |

When I first saw the image, I wasn't sure what to focus on. I guess the dark leaves were distracting enough to keep my eyed away from the "house". There is an interesting discussion here. I decided for want of anything else constructive to say, to attempt a crop which stays in keeping with the original title of the image. The tone and focus is clear for me, in that case. |
