I like the vision you have for this image with the farm well defined in the distance. The alternative image suggested by Paul has some interesting possibilities. |

The black and white image is interesting with focus on lines. At first I thought I preferred the color version but now I think I like the monochrome far better because it simplifies the viewers focus and it is all about interesting lines. Stuarts suggestion of crop works for me as an alternative perspective. |

I like your lone cypress. As a boy I lived for a couple of years in Pacific Grove and often travelled with my parents the 17 mile drive. I would love to go back and see it again. I like your image with only a suggestion similar to Stan's comments that to open up the shadow in the trees might be a nice touch. |

Stan, the tonality of your image is wonderful with a lot of contrast and I like how you composed it to demonstrate to us the size of the sea stacks. The soft mist fog and soft sand foreground helps me keep my eyes focused on the features and think about the tides ebb and flow among the stacks. This image works for me. |

I like the Topaz texture you chose to give this an Old West vintage look. I also like that you chose the original frame and excluded the foreground so we can focus on the wonderful Monument Valley features. Well done. |

I like the composition, depth, story, and tonality. The only thought I have is I feel that somehow there probably would be more shadow on the Roof of building below the Boat Lift. |

Well, by zooming in, it does compress it. Regarding ducking under or being even on the ground, then tree branches between the railroad bridge and the hill would have obscured all but the top most part of the steeple. An alternative might be to crop on the left, but I liked the branches and leaves and yet getting some sense of the rest of the church behind them. Perhaps, it was one of those images that required some other alternative crops or just be satisfied with what I got and leave it at that. It is not an image I would submit in a contest, but certainly would be in a personal portfolio of churches. |

No interest in Drones, besides in this case, photography was secondary for it was a get away trip with my wife and I was using her camera, while out walking through the National Park in Harper's Ferry, that I gave her a few years ago. |

This church had limited view due to trees around the area I was standing from virtually every vantage point with roof tops below and a railroad bridge that runs at the bottom edge of the frame just below it. The church was on a hill. This Is pretty much all that a person can see of the church unless waking up the hill in front of the church which was several blocks in another direction. I like the framed through view, but admit the vantage point problematic for viewing more of the church. |
