I like the concept and feel the Monochrome presentation is tonally quite effective. I would prefer more room at the top so that you could've straightened the columns as well adjusted them to be totally square within the frame. That is quite a scene. For the fine Monochrome conversion makes it seem from ancient times or a 50s Hollywood set! |

This is an excellent example of Monochrome color. Photographing a portion of the flower is very effective. However, the pinkish red version doesn't work for me as well as the Blue Monochrome version. It seems the blue enhanced the detail of the petal curves more effectively for me. These are very nice studies. |

Both the color original and your Monochrome conversion speak excellent story and feeling for the foggy scene. Your depth of field and focus along with composition in the Monochrome image provides me a tightly presented close encounter with the scene as if I have walked closer to try to see through the fog. Nicely done. |

Stan, I like your image and for me the sky helps have perspective and helps not just get lost in the Canyon but see it's relation to where it is in the world. The Canyon details are well defined and provide real interest. |

I like the Monochrome version very much. The range of tones, the more open shadow, and depth work especially well. The original color lacks a richness that would hope for and seems far to dark. You did a wonderful conversion. |

Despite the blur, you image tells a great story, is dynamic and is very focused on the rider! |
