Beautiful image. I think the only thing I wish for is more room at the top of the frame and clone out the stem as seen in the original in achieving that added room. |

Lovely image. I like the DOF, color, composition and find the overall tone just about right for my eye. While dodging the bird to open up the shadow is certainly an option as some have suggested, I find what you presented just about how I see things. I tend to not open shadows too much at times because, as in this case, the direction of light seems to dictate to me not overdoing the lightening of the shadow area. Again, very nice image. |

Fine image. I suggest crop the top and darken the remaining white background area above the head. Nicely seen with splendid color. |

I like the image. DOF and color harmony is excellent. I think the top could be cropped a little as well as the right side. Being centered in the frame would better for me. |

For repeating patterns and textures, they all work. However, I gravitate to the vertical arrangement of the original. |

It is a nice composition with wonderful balance and a nice scene. I wish the shadows were more open. |

This image is way to cluttered and busy for me to appreciate even the predominant lines. The tone is nice, though, but I wonder if a color version might, by virtue of the separation color may give actually reduce the busy feel. |

Great mono conversion! Wonderful tone. My only wish is to see more at the top of the pipes. The top ends to abruptly for my likes. |

I like this environmental scene very much. Stan's comments are mine! I have nothing to add except to say well done with perspective and story as well as mono conversion. |

Stunning image. Excellent in so many ways, I believe. My only suggestion is to reduce the sharpening some. By the way, I like clouds a lot. |

Lovely image. Wonderful composition, framing, DoF, tonality. I think a little more contrast and darkening of the clouds might balance the image and add interest. |

Interesting comments, Stuart. I am not sure I get your concern about what mention as lack of contrast. Regarding leaves being cut off, that might bother some, but in my mind so insignificant, since I think eyes will hardly observe that. Nonetheless, certain baises exist about such study of the image. I was, nonetheless, interested in your comments and will study them further. |

I post the images for Jerry, Ian, as the administrator. I have no idea where that image came from. I have only the images Jerry sent me which are the original color and the monochrome. Puzzling. I figure this out. I post this back in may for Jerry, since they were early submissions. I got the original 2 posted in the wrong month. It should be in October. I will fix it. Everyone, please ignore the image the Original 2 image. |
