26 Aug 19 Comment I like this one a lot, Bob. I sure my hope my clematis start to flower properly here in Virginia. Aug 13th
26 Aug 19 Comment Quite nice. I think this is very dramatic image that is will done. Little lens perspective adjustment to straighten the verticals would enhance it even more. Aug 13th

40 Aug 19 Comment In order to not be redundant, I will not add to the positives already mentioned. Rather, in my opinion, I can only think about things that I believe might enhance the image. For me, I'd prefer to have my eyes focused, using tone curve and contrast as well a vignette, more on the animals. I feel that background surrounding the animals is at the same tonality and thus needs to be subdued. I also, might have preferred a bit more room on the left to minimize the sense of the animals being dead center. Overall, it is a wonderful image that with framing and tonal adjustment will be a winner. Aug 19th

52 Aug 19 Comment Wonderful image, Mike. Wonderful detail, color, tone and composition and overall feel has such fine photographic artistry. Well done. Aug 13th
52 Aug 19 Comment I think this one lost the focus which needs to be the butterfly in relation to the plant. Unfortunately, your crop accentuates that lose of focus. Aug 13th
52 Aug 19 Comment I like the image although, I think it is very busy and thus a challenge to view with any comfort. Sharon might of hit on something that would enhance the image and that is soften it some by reducing the contrastiness. It, in my opinion, needs to glow more and frankly the bee eluded me until I had kept looking at the image. Thus, perhaps some way to separate the bee tonally from the flower might help the overall image. Aug 13th
52 Aug 19 Comment I think there is a nice glow and color harmony with the image. However, the composition doesn't work for me. Judith offers a nice idea for composition, although it still seems to be too centered thus, in my opinion it needs to be offset some regardless of the final composition. What bothers me the most is what I think is it being out of focus which become more obvious with the crop. The wings have lost some detail. You might be able to recover some of that with texture and clarity adjustments and some careful sharpening, but I am not sure that will recover the detail sufficiently. Aug 13th
52 Aug 19 Comment Beautifully captured with nice composition, color, tone and exquisite detail. Well done. I would expect you to get some wonderful mileage with this image. Aug 13th
52 Aug 19 Comment I like the composition, color harmony and overall tone of the image. It is very natural and tells the story of the environment the bird is in. My only thought is the one I had immediately when I first saw the image. I think a touch of clarity (i.e., separation) at the neck below the head. Some dodging my helped to get that separation. 64 Aug 19 Comment I like the image very much. My only nit is the tilt. Aug 13th
64 Aug 19 Comment This is wonderful study in light and form. Well done with nice composition to lead my eye into the image and sharp through and through. The enhance shadows are delightful. Aug 13th
64 Aug 19 Comment Pleasant image with a wonderful story. I think your focus, composition, position and choice of inclusion elements in the image support the story wonderfully. Aug 13th
64 Aug 19 Comment Artful and delightful. Aug 13th
64 Aug 19 Comment I find the image fitting for supporting a certain sort of story. Edgar Allen Poe like. On dark, moonlight night before macabre things happen. Nicely done. Aug 13th
64 Aug 19 Reply IR is not everyone's taste. Perhaps, it is best for me not to share such monochrome imaginations! I will take note of that for the future. Regarding an alternative vertical view point, I have that and it is attached, although that was not my chosen selection for discussion. I find them entirely different in feel, but pleasing. The compression of the scene with the reflections in the vertical image tells a different story. Aug 13th
