Very interesting and it does seem like a wonderful abstract. Once I read the description, I saw what the reflection was and that you captured it well toward the top of the droplet, esp. on the top right and bottom left edges. The reflections that included some green leaf look fantastic! I'm sure this wasn't easy to do. And was it handheld? I'm trying to figure out if the white streaks, mostly in the middle, are movement (like ICM) or if that is what the bush looked like? I love the colors...the blending of those fall colors is very captivating. |

This works great as a close-up. I'm curious about the lighting? Your details are sharp, your color, white balance, shadows and highlights, and composition are all very strong and work in your favor on this image. Tripod use? |

This is a WOW image...great capture in sharp detail! I was wondering where the back of the bee is? I assumed you used focus stacking to get the entire bee sharp? Anyway, the dirt also didn't bother me. Super nice job! |

The sharpness, along with a strongly contrasting background of black, makes for a great impact for me as a viewer. Your lighting also looks very natural, although I see a few blown highlights, but they are very, very minute and are at the very top (it would be the bottom for the stalk). Your white balance seems perfect! You are the expert at focus bracketing and yes, I see the horse's head :-) |

Very, very cool! The beautiful colors definitely give this a terrific impact! It does sound difficult but thanks for sharing the process with us! |

I'm sure it would look good, John, but the technique calls for softening around certain areas such as the edges, the stem, etc. And thank you! |
