This makes me want to take a drink!! It feels very refreshing. The clarity of your subject, the beautiful lighting, and the composition really brought this together to create a really stunning image. It really lives up to it's title. |

The IPhone 15 camera is no slouch, but I agree with many of the comments made, and the redo done by Cheryl is a huge improvement, taking this from a snapshot to an artful image. The subject is the flower, and the wide crop leaves me wondering what you wanted as the subject. By bringing the crop in, the areas between the petals are eliminated and thecemphasis is squarely on the best part of the inage. This crop, along with the slight vignetting, makes your beautiful leading lines stand out better. I know not everyone likes white vignettes but it really worked in this. Now the image has strong initial impact. |

I think you did a great job on this! Taking pictures of ladybugs is not easy. Even though it appears to have an uneven haze over it, the features sill come through clearly. And it is a true macro. So for r not having a cooperative subject or focus stacking, I think it's an admirable achievement. |

Your flower is done very well-f8 gave you the right depth of field for the flower itself. My suggestion is that the background detracts from your hard work on the flower. In addition to the brighter areas that draw my eyes as a viewer, it has a sharp demarcation where the light and dark meet and, unfortunately it falls right at the line of the flower. Did you consider making your own background and placing it behind the flower? Or would moving a bit to one side or changing the angle of your camera have been a possibility? |

I realized I didn't give much info as to the how…I didn't actually do anything to the flowers. I changed out the background for a texture and then painted it back in at different opacities. Then I added my fake stem, and I used the removal tool to remove spider web pieces in 2 sections. Thanks for the positive comments; I can see darkening up that background a bit. |
