Yes, looks like the focus was on the bugs--which is great, but at f6.3, it wasn't enough DOF to capture Mr. Frogg. His eye is critical in the capture, even if the rest of him isn't sharp. What's odd is that there are two separate planes in focus separated by one out of focus plane. Not sure how that would happen unless sharpened in post. I'm afraid I'm not being much help on any of these this month! |

How interesting!! The texture gives it almost a "comic book" treatment look. I like it!
I'm not sure what created those dark edges, and there are a few "soft" areas, but it just adds to that special effect look. The diagonal works well for this, and you've got great detail and texture against a nice soft background in a good color for this skin tone. |

Overall, a lovely combination of colors and the parts that are sharp are great. For me, the head of the bug and the front 4 green parts are blurry. If the bug's head was sharp, I think you would have a bang-on image. But without that, it won't work for me. Extension tubes are great but hard. |

Yes, I do see the halo. Still, a good first attempt! I wish I could be more help, but I still work on the bracketing myself. Stuart is right, though, that we would need more info to figure out what went wrong. |

Interesting...the original was quite red and I moved it more toward Fuchsia, which introduced the purples.
