95 Sep 22 Comment Keith, I'm wondering if its the subject...not the stacking. I just feel like this rock isn't one for stacking. I usually think of subjects with more depth. I think I will defer to other's comments on the actual stacking?

95 Sep 22 Comment You certainly picked a challenging subject; his length alone would make him a difficult bug to shoot. Sometimes a shorter bug is easier to begin with. And sometimes shooting at a slight angle helps. But given the subject, you've done a good try. I would stay with it but pick an easier bug, lol! Sep 16th
95 Sep 22 Comment I really like the way you composed this and you've also done an excellent job shooting it. Beautifully sharp details and white balance. I don't like the remake mainly as the background is now very distracting where I didn't find your original version to have a distracting background at all. As with Gloria's, by using a grey background, you can easily add a texture to this if you wanted to, although I am not suggesting it needs that at all. Great job! Sep 16th

95 Sep 22 Comment This is a very interesting and well-composed juxtaposition of the two leaves. Almost like a Life and Death contrast! Technically, you've done a great job...and with the background being slightly grey instead of white, it will be easy to replace the background with a texture or different color.
