Thank you, greats insights and suggestions. All the comments tell me that while I like the picture, it's not a good street image. Which is why this is so helpful ðŸ¤â€œ |

You did well with the black and white treatment of this as it places emphasis more squarely on the characters. The interaction works well, the clothing is interesting, and the crop is nice and tight without being too tight. The balance of tonal range feels good. Although I honestly wouldn't know what he is showing her, your title works and he is clearly showing her something and questioning her. Great image!

The story is great, and you've captured the action nicely! The ball touching the images' edge on the right is disturbing, so you might consider cropping it out entirely--it is just too close to the edge and draws the eye there as it is big and black. Or clone it out? This works well in glorious color! |

Great street image and works well in black and white. It would be ideal if the photographer's legs hadn't been cut off, but then you might not have gotten all of the jumpers' details. Nice capture!! |

Asheville? My old stomping grounds. This is a great capture--feels like Henri Cartier-Bresson!! I love color, but might want to see this in black and white to compare. It tells a wonderful story, especially the sense of rapid movement in his hair and legs. Maybe bring up the shadows around his face/eyes, but other than that, it works very well! |

Definitely a story in the image. The orientation of the two women, with matching chairs and similar clothing, works well. I did feel that it is a bit too slow of a shutter speed, as one woman has her eyes closed and her hand shows movement; it is a bit soft as well. 1/80 may have been just a tad too slow for handheld. I do like your image, though! |

Too cute for words!! Was this a real dog? I think it wasn't? You know, I don't think many people ever consider doing macro work with animals like this, but it really puts the focus on the eyes! Great texture in the fur and beautiful lighting overall. |

I personally prefer my flowers to have a slight softness to them, especially one like this, as it seems to add to the feeling of curvature and sensuality. It works well for me just as is, including the crop which places the emphasis on that beautiful piece of petal. I might suggest you bring up the whites a bit, but other than that? Wouldn't change a thing! |

What an interesting pattern you captured, with lots of great texture. I did catch that dark patch on the left, and am glad to see it removed. The lines and the colors are really stunning. Nice job!

This is a well-captured image: sharp, vibrant, with a lovely blurred and uncluttered background. The angle you captured it with worked very well for this; I have photographed these flowers, but none of them ever looked as good as this! Kudos!
