Love the town, and I see this more as a travel image v street image. Technically it is crisp, with a nice composition and leading lines. The color combinations and lighting are all very pleasant. There's nothing that holds my interest as a viewer for very long or arouses any curiosity from me, but it's still a nice image. |

What an image, very fun! Having that sign next to him is awesome! Without that sign, he's an interesting subject....with the sign, there's humor and irony. What an excellent subject, and he really pops from among all that clutter. |

Great juxtaposition of all three groupings. I think the title doesn't explain the story for me, so at first look, I wasn't exactly sure what the image was supposed to be showing. Might I suggest you use the words "social distancing" in the title? Yes, too bad about the dog...she feels more isolated to me before the crop. The extra space creates a feeling of separation and isolation from the group who are touching and interacting. The dog feels right to me. The masked server is only seen with a longer view. |

The thing about street photography is catching those random, private yet very public moments without being obnoxious or posing the image. If you had tried for a better angle to eliminate background, the gestures and facial expressions of the interaction would have been lost. Bottom line: a great capture of a ripe moment. Great clarity, sharpness and contrast between your subjects and the overall background. |

Not sure why I cropped so tight; I will need to go back and look at the original. This was taken in a garden and the background is entirely natural. And I loved the Beatles!! |

Yes, I like your flipped image better. I couldn't put my finger on what was bugging me, but that's it!!! |

Right? I agree, and wish I had. We've had very cool weather and a scarcity of bugs, which I guess would make normal people happy, LOL. |

I do like this crop better. I was actually thinking that maybe the top ladybug would be the focus and crop just above the second ladybug? And that would mean leaving more space above the upper ladybug? Just a thought. |

Whoa! A great abstract, a scary view of human skin! The texture is fascinating and the colors really have great immediate impact. I like the diagonal feel of the ridges. Not convinced I'd put it on my wall, but it would be a cool image in a doctor's office! Not saying your skin is scary, but some things are in a whole other realm when magnified to that degree! |

The colors really pop, and it's immediately apparent what the subject is. I feel it would easily accept a much tighter crop, eliminating the big space on the bottom side. Same with that length of stem at the top...it doesn't add anything and detracts somewhat from the viewing focus, leading my eyes up and away from the beautiful ladybug. The only other comment is that the second one has its back to us, so I feel an incongruity in including it. I would have liked to see your other angles and perspectives from this wonderful combination of bug and flower. |

Your capture of the bloom is spot on...sharp, with vibrancy and depth. The water droplets really enhance the depth quality, and that's important because the shadows are quite subtle. I like the texture of the lines toward the back leaves. Having said this, the crop feels very uncomfortable to me. The out of focus and inelegant stem detracts heavily. Did you consider a tighter crop? The one shared below shows gracefully curving stems, so I feel personally that the better way is to eliminate it completely on yours? |
