I do like the glamour glow effect on this. At first, I thought it was a soft image, but as I kept looking at it, I found it to be very peaceful and mood-producing. Super impact of the softness, esp. the water. The point at which the pier posts touch the water's surface is especially captivating to me. What a great image; its one I would look at every day! |

What an interesting treatment! It has an otherworldly feel to it, almost like a colored X-ray of the leaf! Your processing works very well for it, especially the white vignette with just a hint of whisper-soft background. |

You have put the sharpness and the clarity exactly where it should be for this image to work great! The composition is perfect, and you have done a terrific capture of the faces of both! Nothing I would change. And thank you so much, Tom, it was so exciting to see my article published!!

You can never go wrong with a path for a leading line. This is a soothing, pleasant image, with nice composition. It looks sharp to me, but since again, it seems dark on my screen, I think it is my monitor that needs adjusting, not your image. Otherwise, maybe use luminousity on the greens, reds and yellows?

What a great image! You've done a beautiful job of bringing out the eyes. Wonderful capture on the texture, the composition, and the balance in focus. I think I like your cropped version better, as all the focus is on the frog, but maybe if the background right behind its head can be darkened to add a bit of contrast between where his head ends and the background begins? It's not a dealbreaker, though. I like it as is!! |

This is a beautiful image...impressively sharp for that range, with beautiful color combinations. The light coming through the wings works very well for this image. Overall, I was thinking it might be a bit dark...can you add more luminance to the bird, or maybe vibrance, so it pops a little more from the background?

Thank you, Judith! I am not sure I am seeing the halo...there was a very light cloud layer, so could it be the faint white from the clouds? Otherwise, I need to figure out a) where it is and b) how to remove it without making it a more obvious aberration.
