I agree here. The image is a little busy and lacks a central subject. It is certainly a lovely spot and isn't it fantastic that we carry such a powerful camera around in our pockets. I might have tried cropping this on bottom and right to focus attention on the pond and maybe even turn it into a black and white.

I like the lead in lines on this photo, from icy peak to clouds, down to the faint hint of a rising sun and then back across the fractured ice to the base of the peak again. The colors are muted but rich and they work superbly with this image. I would have cropped off the bottom 1/4 of the image. There is not much added information in there and it would have made the composition almost perfect rule of thirds. |

Hi Kathleen, I love this image. Beautiful colors and I like that the wings are blurred by motion. It gives the image a dynamic feel. The only thing I would have done is crop the right hand side to remove some of the white and focus attention on the bird. A wonderful picture, thank you! |

A beautiful macro image. Depth of field is excellent and all of the flower is in focus. Color contrast is great. The center of the flower has almost an alien feel. There are two small distractions in the background, one adjacent to the flower on the left hand side and one in the bottom right corner which I would have removed. |

This is a stunning astrophotography image. I would have liked to see it without the white lettering. With the annotation it belongs in an astronomy book. Without, it stands alone as the absolutely spectacular image that it is. |
