Alison,
Great portrait of Jack. The background is out of focus and dark as it should be. (In the portrait, the metering was on Jack while in the location short, the metering was on the background.) Your positioning the camera at Jack's eye level is perfect. My suggestions to improve the shot would be in post processing - tone down the hand slightly and tone down the front of the shirt.
Keep up the good work.

Salvador, I like the pose and composition of your image. The only things that bother me are the knee at the bottom and the brightness of the window in the background. Both are easily corrected. Good image. |

Jim, very nice image. I like the jumping pose and your I think the freeze of motion works. You did a great job background replacement is great and your choice of a cloud filled sky was a good choice. |

Donna, great street image. I really like it, but I do find the re3flective background near the backpack distracting. I think it should remain, but be toned down similar to Manfred's edit. Otherwise, I like it very much. |

I think you captured the Penguin character in a excellent manner. The lighting is effective as the use of color LUTs. Great work. |

I appreciate all the comments and agree that I should tone down the right sleeve (camera left). As far as the lack of separation on the right side of Carl's head, my creative goal was a failure in conveying my vision.. I did not intend to create a "standard" portrait, but to have the medival foot soldier emerge from the shadows in a sinister way. |
