Hello Charles Shepherd. I personally like the way you cropped this image, and I like the image itself. Taking it from the back of the statue drives my eye onto the field in front of it, instead of just trapping my attention just on the statue. The crop follows very standard and traditional composition, without taking any unnecessary risks trying to be creative. Sometimes simplicity is the hardest thing to accept and apply. Thank you for sharing this image. |

Hello Joan Funk. This image just lowered my blood pressure. I appreciate the work that went onto cleaning it up so the subject is very clear and are no additional distractions taking away from this calming image. Thank you for sharing it. |

Hello Dr V G Mohanan Nair. I like how the sunlight illuminates the subjects hair, separating it from the background. The colors on his outfit are complimentary to the background, making it, in my eyes, a very good and cohesive image. Seeing the small thumbnail does not make it any justice, as this photo calls for attention to the details in the outfit as well as the blurred background. |
