What a surprise to see the Herons' nests with the stellar visitor! This is a great story. I think it would work with a crop from the right with the eagle on a line one third into the image. |

Nice job imagining the before of what is there now. It looks timeless now. I love the layers and the atmosphere. It might also be a candidate for black and white. |

Beautiful scenery with great color. I love how the lines lead my eyes into the image. I can imagine myself there. |

I can see where the large white foreground light can serve as a place for text in a magazine layout or, in your card! By itself the foreground is almost too strong for my eyes and takes a moment to readjust my perception of the rest of the image. I enjoy the reflection and this feel like the main subject to me. |

This is such a fun impactful image. Like Sue I feel I could climb in and explore. It would make a good black and white as well with some contrast, texture, and gradient. The many layers give this subject a sense of movement and depth. |

Thank you Sue. I appreciate you taking the time to work with the image! I do like it without the other birds, other than the scale to show how big the cranes are, they did not add much to the 'story'. |

Thank you Marcus. I must have pulled the exposure up too much! When I rework I will bring that down. I like the way you have cropped, it makes the upper part of the image more harmonious. I will see if I can figure out the cloning and content aware in PS as you have accomplished exactly what I thought it needed. |
