A lone tree is always a wonderful subject. I do like your original image with the exception of the light streak going off to the left. If you flip the image, I think then the tracks and streak will work better together when the tree is centered. I also think Paul's version works very well. You can make a year round body of work with that tree. Nice! |

This is an intense and exciting image. The dunes above the main one create parallel lines echoing the foreground lines. The one thing which seems to stop the flow is the white area - the face of a smaller dune - in the upper left. It is perpendicular to the flow of the dune lines. Also I think removing that and the light area in the upper left corner will allow more cohesiveness. This is a great contrast to your many serene dunes. Nice! |

A wonderful capture! You chose a perfect location. The buildings have different patterns and the reflections add so much interest. At first look it seemed like there was a fourth building created by the dark reflections. There is a lot to be discovered and enjoyed in this image. Nice one! |

A nice capture of the scene. Nice composition with the triangles formed around the path. The knotted rope, missing board and threatening clouds add to the interest. Very nice! |

A great capture. There is a such a contrast between her old, worn face and her shirt with cartoon bunny characters on it. I am distracted by the 4 in the corner, but not the two dark areas above it. A thin white pixel border would help to define the edge. Nice! |
