I have a light with a rainbow of colors to play with. So I am not sure what I used but I had fun. |

Your crop left room for the horse to move and you can see the concentration on the young rider. The background is soft. Everything is right. If another judge looked at it the result could be totally different

I agree on everything Tom has to say. You even have the Firestone writing on the tires slightly blurred. Great image! |

I have been to this area of Death Valley. Your composition is perfect. The only thing I might try is dodge/burn the area the rock has moved in the mud to increase the contrast from the rest of the dried mud. |

Thanks for your comments. To answer your question on why the lower trails arch is different than the upper trails arch, is the camera is pointed south so the trails go in different directions. The glow to the left of the station is Tucson Arizona. Also I forgot to mention the lens is at 16mm. |
