Apologies Spring, I was thanking Stan for reminding us that man made "objects" would stop an image being accepted as a Nature entry in a salon - the "road2 at the bottom of the image would probably qualify as the "hand of man" |

I really appreciate this image, my eyes are drawn to the buildings, the layers of the snow from between the trees and across the field with vegetation breaking up the snow really helps
My only suggestion would be to crop the right hand tree so both trees are cropped equally, this would then move the view of the buildings . . .
My memories of Norristown were suburbs where friends lived, pleased it is not all built up |

Sky and all the textures on the canon are all excellent.
Have you considered a larger image so the canon has more space on the left for it to "fire into"? |

Forgive me but it did take concentration to sort out the petals in the mono version, plus my eyes then wandered bottom left to the dark background (crop out?) - I preferred the colour version |

I really appreciate the processing from colour to monochrome, her face is now the focus for me after following the lines
I agree with Stan a 2/3 px white stroke would "hold" the image, this is a last task I always do before submitting to competitions |

Agree with comments above perhaps cropping more tightly so that the "black hole" is centered; I don't like heights so looking up would be my viewpoint everytime |
