58 Apr 26 Reply Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I sincerely appreciate that. It's always a dilemma. What I most often do when I'm in bigger cities and I photograph someone, I usually provide a tip to them to show my appreciation and let them know I captured a photo. If asked to delete, I simply delete it. I always try to be as respectful as I can even in a public space. Apr 13th

58 Apr 26 Comment Michele,
I love how you captured such a natural moment - she looks genuinely absorbed in her conversation or whatever she's watching on her phone. The way she's nestled among the rice products she's selling makes her the undeniable focal point of the scene. The vibrant colors surrounding her are wonderful, too. The strong blues in the foreground, followed by the subject, then the yellows and whites behind her all work together to create a beautifully balanced composition. Lovely work.

58 Apr 26 Comment Bruce,
I'm right there with you - I love a good donut. The main subject looks like he's guarding that donut stand as if his life depends on it, which adds a fun sense of character to the shot. I noticed he even has his hand on his weapon. The image is wonderfully sharp, and I really like how you shifted the perspective to make it feel as though it was taken straight on. Clean, crisp, and now I'm hungry too.

58 Apr 26 Comment Stephen,
I love the perspective you chose here. Red is such a commanding color, and you've captured its power beautifully. My eye goes straight to the main subject in the rearview mirror, and nothing else competes for attention - that reddish?orange vehicle truly becomes the star of the scene.

The longer I look, the more I appreciate the balance created by the three vehicles trailing behind it. They add structure and weight to the composition without pulling focus. Really well done.

58 Apr 26 Comment Linda, I love the juxtaposition of the man in the black shirt against the crowd of women all dressed in white. That contrast immediately anchors the image. The diagonal white street lines add another layer of visual complexity, guiding the eye through the frame. It feels as though every element was intentionally anticipated - from the dark background that highlights the subject's fair complexion to the interplay of black and white throughout the scene. I'm especially drawn to how the main subject is fully engaged, looking directly at you in the moment you captured him. My eye goes straight to him. Nice work and patience! Apr 9th
58 Apr 26 Comment Dr. Vaisman, I love how my eye naturally follows the yellow crane all the way up to the red tip of the boom. Seeing the workers perched on the cliffside puts me right in their shoes - it gives me a rush of anxiety, but in a way that heightens the tension and energy of the scene. The rugged terrain paired with that dramatic sky creates a powerful, cinematic atmosphere. Truly impressive work. Apr 9th
58 Apr 26 Reply Thank you so much. I'm glad the image captured your attention. This is always the intent of my photos. Try to draw the viewer's attention and hold them there for a while. Thank you for the wonderful critique. Apr 9th
58 Apr 26 Reply Linda,
Wow, thank you so much for the detail assessment. Your comments made me go back and look at my photo again. I'm very happy that you noticed my ground view photo. For these types of images, I never want to shoot from above. I want to give the subject my full on attention and make them the star of the photo...not give it a feel of "looking down on them."
