I suppose I mean that the straight above angle is a natural/default angle that we typically see flowers when we bend down to see them. By getting down low or shooting through some foliage creates a sense of discovery, like you're peeking at them. |

Your crop takes the image from ordinary to interesting, I'd say. Cindy's suggestion to flip the image is brilliant. I would not have thought of that but it really does help as we read from left to right. |

Lovely soft light-- a classy image. Your edits are terrific and make the photo feel more like painting. Very beautiful. |

The image has a lot going for it but I think, if you're okay with manipulation, try cloning out the tree. For a strong contrast street image the simplicity will help. I agree with David that darkening the overhang might help, too. |

Great texture and composition. I might like to crop it in just a bit more form the bottom. I think it feels more intimate with the subject. Great photo! |

A lovely and simple image with good editing to bring out the colors of the flowers. The three flowers sit nicely in the frame. Constructive criticism would be that a more active or interesting angle would make it less flat. |

This feels surreal, like a frame out of a dream. The mist on the water and the active stance of the boatman are strong. The colors and post-processing were a choice I'm not sure supports the image or not. Very interesting! |
