You capture a picture as an old Renaissance painter. The background is soft and wonderful. My eye keeps going to the brightest part - upper right. If the eye comes from left, it leaves the picture, and you don't get to enjoy it as much. Maybe darken the bright white spot and upper left. Or flip the image. Just a beautiful red tulip, not the lives of one. |

Your technical work is commendable, Jose. Lots of work to create this masterpiece vista. Maybe it is this lower resolution version, but it looks like the focus is soft. I agree with others about the darkening of the sky. Surprising, it doesn't look like you have many blacks in the whole picture. Maybe darken the lower right corner. The sweep of the snow at the bottom brings your eyes into the picture. |

I always admire IR shots. I'm not sure I know what you want us to look at. I start at the brightest spot, trees center, and then try to look at the water. Can you bring up more tones in the water and show us more of what is there? Does IR show all the different tones, or are they a short range? |

Nice sharp image of a flower, Mark. There is no mistaking your focus point. As you say, you control the environment, and you added the water dropplets. I get lost in looking at this flower. Well done.

Wonderful arches. My eyes seem to look more at the bottom due to the white arch and the red buoy. Maybe darken the bottom portion. I like Kristi's idea of a B&W. |

We can't tell you didn't have the right equipment. You did great in capturing sharp images of the butterflies. I like the placement of the flower and butteflies. The one on the left is a little lighter and keeps your eye in the picture. Well done. |
