So lucky to see a threatened species in the wild... and you got them standing up and playing. What kind of focal length did you have? |

Speaking of file size... so interesting to see how this displays. I saved this using Lightroom at 1400 px. with jpg quality level of 11. Unlike the Australian Hobby, this image doesn't benefit from closer inspection!
I'm old fashioned, I guess :) I like print. |

Wow... just wow! I've never seen the aurora. What an incredible gradation of color into the black of the 'normal' night sky with the stars visible in both. It looks like a painting. Makes me wonder what kind of exposure to keep the stars pinpoint?
As the newbie, I'm looking at files sizes for you all. All save for me under 1 MB but Steve rocks on making his jpg open at over 100 MB! Big difference in how it looks in close up view. I think some trade off in detail though when viewed at 100%. Just interesting how that works! |

Love white bark trees... is it birch? Ain't fall colors great! I thought it so peaceful, almost melancholy but Annmarie has it right with tranquil. Nice balance of color... so easy to over saturate. |

It looks like a rocket... luscious blue... almost abstract which I have a fondness for. Was it indoors or what was the light like? |

Such penetrating eyes! It looks super even at 200%. With that much depth of field, it makes me wonder how far away you were and focal length? I like the smooth out of focus background which really puts your attention on the subject. |
