Thank you very much Firdaus. No it wasn't shot with a macro lens, I used a 18 - 400 mm lens.Original image was taken in my garden, using natural light, it was a overcast dull day, so no harsh light or shadows. |

Oh wow... you really captured this old warrior well, love the water droplets and the far away look in his eyes.* little bit of banding in the sky, like Michael said might be from dehazing or sharpening? |

Oh how lucky you were to see bears!..that image makes me wonder what they were up to, where they were headed etc. The tight crop would be good for printing, a wider crop would be interesting, showing them in their environment as a digital image. |

Very peaceful, pretty image, Yosemite is beyond beautiful. I love the little bit of light hitting the rock face.Maybe try getting a bit of blue back into the sky to bring out those little clouds? Slow shutter worked so well to capture the soft water |

Nice shot Kathy, I like how you captured the water sharp at the top and blurs out as it goes down, showing movement.Nice light on the stone wall behind |

Very nice Deb, I like the gritty feel of the image, it adds to the aged look.Church yards are fascinating. |

Thanks Michael,I really enjoy trying to do creative images with flowers.A few of us from my local camera club got together to have a go at submerged flowers, it was a lot of fun, you should definitely give it a go.In regards to this image, I darkened the background, highlighting the main blossoms, then duplicated and mirrored the image to create 2 images side by side then duplicated and flipped to create 1 image but 4 blossoms. Then duplicated and placed it on a angle, did this 3 more times and then convert to smart object and stacked it.Lots of good tutorials on Youtube for both Mandalas and Submerged Flowers. |
