I agree with the others. The original has a nice feel to it, but the one you had redone in Judy's comment works very well. The bold colors in the edit are nice and inviting. Makes me wish for summer! |

Very nice composition. A well balances image right to left, and front to back. I would remove the person out with spot healing versus cropping if it were me. I like the tones and shadows of the original best. It feels more natural. |

Thank you Judy. I agree that this one in white is definitely better than black. I have others where the black works well, or other colors. |

Yes, I see the face now that you pointed it out. |

Thanks Bob, that is a good article. I was going for beyond high key here. An artistic expression of blue in a sea of white. I tried it with a softbox and a hard reflector. The soft box had it too flat with the bright background and the hard reflector was more of what I was looking for. |

I like this image a lot. Sharp, beautiful, and I love it in black and white. But, as has been stated, the edges are too distracting. Vignette would help, or burning them down. |

This image had me stumped for a while. The artistic choice to have it tilted off axis does work here. I do find the image a bit flat. The added contrast and background adjustments do help with that. |

This is a good shot. I agree with what has been said. Darken the branch and brighten up the bird will help make the eyes gravitate towards the bird better. |
