Tough shot, Timothy. Hallway lighting, Christmas lights, ugh! Nice job though getting past that. I probably would have brought the exposure down a little bit more but that's personal preference. |

Technically a tough shot. Christmas lights can be very glaring but you've done a nice job of softening them so the viewer's eyes stay on the subject.
I'd be interested to hear how you "added the glow".
I agree with Tim. A bright cheery scene that would make a nice holiday card. |

Nicely done, Barbara. Photo gives a nice sense of place. Cudos for technique. A good choice of settings allows for balance of depth of field and color. It's not just a picture of the light sculpture but the scene draws you into a sense of community. I'm a little surprised you would need to de-noise at ISO 250 but have to assume you saw something needing it. Overall, great shot! |

I like this image, Wendy. Technically, a little blown out on the left side but not enough to be a distraction. Other than that great tones and definition. I like the composition. Unless you had taken this at an angle, I think an off-center arrangement would have been distracting. Good choice there. Lastly, I like the way the photo draws you in. Emotionally, it's inviting curiosity, calling you through the doorway. Nice work! |
