Hi Mark. I like your version much more and thank you for your constructive comments. I still struggle with landscape photography. |

Hi Rich.
This is a strong subject - ancient temples, layered architecture, dramatic sky. The raw ingredients are excellent.
There are three visual anchors and eye doesn't know where to land. The central temple should probably dominate. Otherwise, I like others' suggestions. |

Hi Pete.
I love it!
Your light is excellent. Nothing feels random. The palette is limited and classy. Bottle creates a vertical spine. Teapot is the center of gravity. Pears balance the right side. Smoke adds movement to an otherwise static scene.
However, the right side has a lot of empty darkness compared to the left's heavy bottle mass. Maybe you could consider cropping a little from the right, or brighten the smoke area slightly so it participates more, not just fades away (to add balance).

Hi Sophia.
This image reads instantly: tension + surprise + timing. That's strong. That's not luck - that's awareness and patience. I aggree with the crop on top and bottom. The fish is bright, but the water tone is similar, so contrast is not perfect. The browns and blues are nice, but slightly flat. Slight contrast/vibrance could improve them. Small clarity boost to the bird would give it more authority. And I agree with Suzanne about the fish loosing sharpness in the edit. The timing and narrative make this a compelling frame. |

Hi Mark.
A compelling courtship moment captured with excellent timing and elegant body language.
White birds against dark green foliage is excellent. The background gives enough contrast that the birds pop without looking cut-out. The light is soft. It reveals feather texture beautifully. The upward wings create a natural frame. The S-curve of the lower bird's neck adds elegance and flow. My recommendation is to lower highlights, possibly reduce whites, maybe reduce clarity, texture behind the birds, and darken the background just a touch, or disaturating the greens in the background.

Hi Natalia. You already received some great suggestions. When I looked at your image for the first time, it gave me this pleasant squeeze inside my chest. Almost like taking breath away, when you see something beautiful. You captured this moment perfectly. Although, the lights are bight and might be considered distracting, it unfolds like life - not perfect, but great. |
