I did walk down it, the light and shade was wonderful, the housing estate at the end of the alley was not. Shame, you want something like this to open up into a meadow or a lovely square, very rarely do. |

This is so close to being right up there. The patterns and symmetry are spot on, the vehicles of the buildings are nicely broken by the road the vehicles. But that bike and rider is nicely placed. I would want a touch more contrast in this just to enhance the black and whites of the images as it is a touch on the grey side. But it is held off the top spot by not moving your camera up one or two CM so we have the top of that building. It would fulfil the image and make it pop. But great image to view. |

WOW. That looks spectacular. You have captured it well and the colour and light comes across perfectly. I t must have been a wonderful sight to see and a very good piece of engineering. Now they do it with drones and it is not the same. Makes me want to go. |

De Courcy Castle or Downmacpatrick/Dunmacpatrick Castle, It is said that the first Castle was built by the Irish chieftain Cearmna in the 3rd century and was originally named Dún Cearmna. But this shown hear was mainly rebuilt in the Normal Style by De Courcy. There is a very good golf course just over the head of the horizon. Your view is showing off the Castle keep and the entrance to the headland well. It also shows the enticing view of the lighthouse that sits off into the distance. It is well worth the fee and trip to the end. The views are spectacular. Very pleasing image. p.s. What is the red and white flag? |

You have capture the Yacht the detail is very good and the white is not blown out. It is a shame that your took it when you did and it is up against the other boat it would have been better a couple of seconds latter. The time of day is great. But I am surprised that you don't have any of that colour from the sky in the water. Now I am wondering if a portrait image may have been better here, With that you would have had more if not all of the Yacht in the image. Pleasing image. Is this what they call sailing off into the sunset? |

I did, but I then thought a lot of the shot was the wet conditions and the spray was a big part of the image. Hense the room behind instead of in front. |

Our beautiful Cherry has come and gone already, we had a wonderful week of gorgeous blooms that all of a sudden turned in the most glorious snow storm of pink and then no more for another year. This is well taken and I like your separation of the leaf's and blooms to the rest. Very pleasing image of memories that are so brief. Strong DOF. |

That is a nice flatbed and sitting nicely on a mound overlooking the view. The conversion is very good and looks a nice large flat field in front of it. I take it that the view from the front was not that good. But this is a very pleasing image. |

I think you have seen a very interesting image and took a good picture. Is this one of those image that if you squint your eyes you will see something? lol. It has a nice kaleidoscope centre. But I think you took the image correctly and it did not need a crop and your crop has made it to tight on the main. So I thought I would show the alternative. Hope you don't mind. |

What this image shows off more than anything else is the scale of the ice. Those are the tales of humpback which are enormous to us and they really look like specs to that vast is bank. This is a fabulous moment in time and must have been wonderful in time. Please say yes that you got the image before this. Thank you for sharing. Wonderful. Coffee Table book image or great lecture image. |

This does make for a classic monochrome conversion, with all those light and shadow you are blessed with so much to play with for tones. You must have hundreds of images to go through, I know I would, so many different angles and if you were there for the day so many times of day. The detail is coming out well.
But I must say I do like the colour as well and hope you produce both. The colour handles the bottom left corner better than the monochrome. Great image. |

I can only give this the beast complement I can. I wish I had taken this.
It makes me want to sit there with a flask of sweet coffee and sit and watch. So tranquil and so well produced. I don't even mind all the white foam in the foreground. It all sit so well. This image would do you well and would get a high score off me. That is a beautiful conversion from that original. Well done. |
