The End of the Day. The tale of the last days of earth a new book by the renowned author Carl Johnson.
Does make a great book cover image and does give the feel for one of those epic film moments.
When you do your book of images, this could make a good cover image. |

This has the potential to be a wonderful image, the light and colour is just wonderful and simplicity of the tree is just right. But I find that it is to tight in the frame and needs room to breath. This image would then pop. Lovely image to view. |

Wow an impact on the visual senses. You and your camera have handled it very well. You composition is spot on and the colours are just wonderful.
I do wonder if it would be better without the boat. But that is down to personal taste. This is a joy to view and thank you for sharing.
But I would love to know more about camera and settings. |

This is a very tranquil scene, but has that fret overhead from that menacing cloud. Very well composed and the timing and detail is spot on.
Very pleasing image to view. |

With the ability of the modern phone it is sometimes not necessary to carry the large camera and gear around with you. The phone has done you proud and has caught all the detail that is needed. I would like a touch more left a right. Maybe a small pano so we can see how it sits in its surroundings. But it does show of how many of the old ruins are now. Only the ones owned by English Heritage and National trust are very well kept. But this does sit well.
Monochrome could be the way for this image but with deeper tones. |

I love your use of light and the delicate texture you have kept on the flower heads, the control of the detail and texture is very nice. What makes is the two buds heading off in the other direction just give that alternative to the image. Very pleasing monochrome. |

Mary Ann this is a joy for me and why I love horse, that is such a beautiful shot and the light fall upon them is stunning. I can only give this the best complement, I wish I had taken this. Stunning. |

This is a nice monochrome image of the building, but I would like to see it with the converging vehicles done. The detail and tones are spot on and that is a grand staircase. |

That is a great conversion from a flattish image. Your tones and detail you have gained are very good.
I personally would not crop this as this is a perfect travel image and shows off the scene well and what happens as they pull in the fish. If I was judging a travel comp this would score well. Cropping in gives you the detail of the people but loses the atmosphere. Cracking image. |

I must admit I sat and looked at this image for a while, the format of it did not sit well with me and for a moment I did not see why. But after a few moments I relied. Conflicts, Rocks to black, Rocks to white. Might sound strange, but when I look at the image I start to lose the rocks, first in the black of the water they sit and then to the competing white water of above. The suggested crop is ok but not enough. I do think there is a better one for this image to make it very strong.
You have two competing images which have to be balanced in such a way that they don't compete, the natural format for this image is a square for mat, for me they then both work well together and form a nice frame. Just an idea. |

Your timing and capture is spot on and the detail in the butterfly is very good. The conversion to monochrome has done well with the detail in the butterfly. I personally would tone down the right side of the image just a touch. But that's my taste. This is a lovely image. |
