p.s. Just want to show the image without the man. For me, much stronger. |

This is a great monochrome image and scene. The strength of those chimneys are so good that they hold there own and could have been taken anytime in the last 100 years. Then you have the rest of the furniture of the image, even the white lines are perfect in shape and form. But the man does not seem right, his dress style does not fit the image, his position and strength is perfect. Just needs to be darker or older if you get what I mean. But a great image that I wish I taken. |

WOW!!
This is taking on Venice, the buildings are beautiful and the whole image is hitting you in the face. But who decided to put those two horrible towers there like that. It spoils the whole scene. Looking at the image you seem to be a touch over exposed. I had a little play in Luminosity mask just gently touching each of the layers and the image pops.
Great image. |

That is a cloud and it looks ready to drop a monstrer on the city. The light is falling on the buildings nicely and your composition is nice. I like that splash of colour on the horizon left giving the viewer some hope of the future. Even the Seagull is getting out of there. Great shot. |

That is a beautiful splash of light on the trees and gives a strong colour and great reflection. I do look at this and think that you could have lifted the camera to have the top of the trees and lose that first part of the foreground so you just started with water and reflection. |

This image does show off how the human influence has effected the more remote of area's. The one house has effected all the way don the hill and then you can see all the other patches of human advances.
Looking at the images I do wonder if you could have done a slightly tighter crop to get the same effect, keeping all the main trees and the main points of interest. It is a very interest image to view. |

They had one of these where I lived and my kids loved it, we had to go there at least once a week for them to play. This does show off that perfectly and how much fun they are with all those kids. I used to sit with a good book and the wife went off around the shops. The local councils are shutting them down now as they cost to much to keep up. Just a lovely image and brings back fond memories, thank you. |

You have done well considering this is from a moving car on the bridge. The angles are spot on and the lines are straight leading you into the image. The tones are ok but a bit flat and safe. You also removed the sunburst instead of using it. So I have done a version with the sunburst left in and put through Silver Efex 7 on a high Contrast setting. See what you think. |

The conversion has gone well, the detail pulled from the colour version is very good and the feather count is all there. The image is pin sharp so your panning was spot on and the eye is just right. Pleasing shot. |
