33 Apr 25 Comment This makes a strong monochrome, the lines are angles give great lines for the viewer to follow and the tones are spot on. My only niggle is the position you have chosen the flags slightly act as a block to entering the image. For me all the people playing with all those lines are wonderful, please say you took more than one and tried other angles. Apr 22nd
33 Apr 25 Comment Your camera settings are spot on for this image, any slower and it would have been to milky and any faster it would have been to crisp. Your composition is very nice and I love that ring/tire on the right of the image. You do just want to jump in. Apr 22nd
33 Apr 25 Comment A classic Venice image of one of the main boat ways with all the coming and going. The buildings have been defined beautifully and are standing well against the water. I would say the water is about half a stop over exposed, this looks early morning as it is very quite on the canal as there is normally many more craft on here. Please image. Apr 22nd
33 Apr 25 Comment The light on this image is just perfect, the tones and colour are just right. The curve of the wave is nice and you have enough detail of the distant cliff and town to draw the viewer in. Very pleasing image to view. Apr 22nd
33 Apr 25 Comment Look how clear the water is, unpolluted and no modern disturbance. The image has been taken well and the quality is spot on. The detail in the water is very well defined and the colours are lovely. But I do look at the image and want to see more as it looks a wonderful place. Nice image. Apr 22nd

39 Apr 25 Comment We as a country seem to come to a stop if we have an inch or two of snow, they survive this. I like that you can just see the top of the window, it give the viewer more scale and you realise how deep this is, The image is well taken and the detail is spot on. How many of us could cope with this. Think you may need more than shovel. Apr 22nd
39 Apr 25 Comment Your husband looks very talented, his has a good eye and natural shape to him. The image is lovely and I like the off the should shape to the image. The light is a joy and catches his face well and it looks a nice place to sit. Very pleasing image. What does his finished image look like? Apr 22nd
39 Apr 25 Comment Another strong image from this dance event, the image does look like they are morphing together. The shape is lovely and the light is nice, but I hate that box. Sorry its just a blob that gets in the way of the shape. I know it was they and they needed it. But visually it annoying. Apr 22nd
39 Apr 25 Comment I like both, the colour shows off his colours well and how he blends in etc. The monochrome his face and eyes stand out with joy and he just stares at you with content. This would not have been the easiest image to take, so you have done very well. The vast contrast difference and the shadows would have been deep and it does not show. Very nice image. Apr 22nd
39 Apr 25 Comment This is a strong monochrome image, simple but has effect from that, your work on the image from the original is perfect and could not be improved. This is the type of image you see in images of monochrome. Well worth publishing.
The other more upright image is also very good but more a record shot, it does not have the strength of the first image and including the front barriers add as block to the bridge.
Both excellent. But this is ready for that book you are going to publish.		 Apr 22nd
