When I go down to the beach, I try and capture image like this all the time, it is very difficult to get it right and I have hundreds of them sitting in my library just gathering dusts. I think this is a good attempt and the shape the water has made around the rock and its surroundings is very good. For me one trick may have been to take a separate image of the rock that was pin sharp and just drop the top of it into this image. The image would then pop. A touch more shadow needs to be added. |

Considering this was taken from a bus, through a window, while the bus was moving I think you have done very well. It will make you smile every time you see it as it will remind you of that moment and the place you visited.
As this is nearly monochromatic, you could try this in monochrome as you may get more depth when you lose the colour. But a very pleasing image to view. |

I do like your image and the view is love, but when i look at it I get the feeling that you have allowed the light to invade your image and it took me a while to notice the man. I do love that he mostly rim lighting and you can use that. So I had a little play with your original.
Put it through Topaz A1 to enhance focus, light and colour. Then in silver efex six turn monochrome with more silver and adjusted sliders to suit. Then in Photoshop camera raw I started to relit the image and bring the man out a bit more. I then cropped so the proportion allowed the viewer to see the image and the man played a part. Hope you like. |

This is my kind of image as I am mad about horse, never get me on the back of one, but i love my racing and just thing they are beautiful. Your conversion is nice, but for me I would like just a touch more contrast, but only a touch, but the tenderness between the two of them is lovely. Great image. |

Now is he playing Dixie of honky-tonk or just good old blues. But it has been staged well and you have processed the image well. The blur on his hands adds a nice feel to the image. Good monochrome. |
