You have composed this image well and using the line of the surk to lead you into the frame. The sky is magic and hinting at the joy to come. For me i would just lighten up the houses a touch, but that is my taste. But a moody dominating landscape. |

Is this a modern day Turner, The art of blending image into the colour of the the frame. Just full of mood and the the glow on the right is just magic. Not a photo and piece of art. |

The viewpoint you have chosen for this image is exceptional and turns this to a great image the strength of those three boats is great and the colour dominate the whole image. The people add fantastic scale and the whole image is just a joy to view. |

Perfect conditions for photography, the light and colour is perfect and the conditions seem still enough for some lovely images. I do hope you took a lot. The focus is spot on and the colour is lovely, if this was mine a step or two to the right would have got separation for the front boat to the back. You could take a slither of the top so the two colour patches in the cloud form the corners. But lovely image. |

This is a good record shot of the wall, this is where the mobile phone does come into its own. personally I would have liked you to pulled out a touch more so we could have got it more in its situation and surroundings. What you described happened in most countries, over hear castles, houses and most famous Hadrian's Wall was rob out over 100's of years to build the hamlets around it.
We all take these picture as they fill the pages of the book we will produce that tells the story of our trip. Some of us take these image so we can fill out lecture to present to camera club. But allowing more information or taking two images, one of the wall and one of how it sits will one day come useful. You are doing some amazing trips that one day you may want to tell people about. |

This must have been a wonderful sight to seen and watch develop. The colours are brilliant and the composition is spot on. I just think you could have got that focus a tad sharper on those mountains. But must have been magnificent. |

Book, that is the end of all my image taking. I have a few I have done for myself. I will when I have a set that I think make for an interesting book. But it will be what they call a "Zine". You can get about a 100 copies of them done for about £100 if you do the artwork. Always wanted to do one. |

Welcome Mary to are little group of colour blind photographers. (lol) Do hope you enjoy you time with us.
And a fine start it is, Joey looks quite content sitting there with his twig. The conversion is very good with the detail being pulled out very well and not over sharped. Lovely detail and catchlight to the eyes.
You don't say what you use, but you have pulled some wonderful detail out of the head from the original. Does stand out well. |

Another fine image from the dancing, the shape and detail are very good and the hands are lovely. As I said and showed last month, with photoshop you can enhance this to lose the background and i could remove to box. This must have been fun taking all these. |

I am not the greatest fan of IR, but this works, the composition is spot and is the highlight for me. The viewer is instantly draw to those doors and then are aloud the roam around the garden at leisure. Some would say the pillar of the right is not need, but I think it is as it hold the frame together with those fir trees on the left. Really nicely balanced image that is a pleasure to view. |

This hits the bullseye, texture, detail, rim lighting, beautiful eye contact and an aha. What more do you need. This is a keeper that will do you well. I can see some pompous nature judges say it needs a fish in its mouth. Bar humbug.
Wonderful image. Wish I had taken this. |

This is a lovely view of the back end of the motorbike with a lovely pair of fins. The wheel with all the spokes comes over very well, It does show that the owning loves his love his bike. But when i see the colour version I want to see the whole machine, that paint job looks amazing. |
