After you have just looked at Arief image it does bring it home that may be the west needs to change.
You image shows off the madness of NY and the chaos that happens there every day, great advert image for why we are not going to solve global warming. Very strong image on many fronts. |

I am meant to be living in a forward thinking country who cannot even agree to put a few of these in a field and we think we are advanced. By the way it is a wonderful shot of a very difficult subject to capture, the light of that water would have been awful, but you have no blow outs and held the distant hills. Thank you for sharing and puts the West to shame. |

This is what I spend hours walking the streets looking for and you have it over there. Its wonderful. The split making it a two tier image and the bloke on the phone is just wonderful.
But I had to do it, so please don't get to annoyed, but in monochrome all that hidden detail that hides behind the colour comes bursting out and makes this fabulous. |

What I get when I look at images like this is the power of water, when it wants to move it will do so and nothing will stop it as we have seen from the vast floods around the world. Great colours and tones in the image. Thank you for sharing. |

The image has been taken well and the bridge is placed in the frame nicely for good lead line, the man at the top is great as he adds the touch of scale. I do like the shadow down the bridge, gives good shape to the image. There does seem to be some nice reflection in the water so I hope you had some fun with those. Pleasing image to view. |

I hate being the voice of negativity, why's it always me? But I have to be honest as that what these groups are about, putting an image up and we all go lovely is not going to help us improve or learn from our mistakes.
So, one big thing stands out before I get to the image, why f25, great the camera says your can shoot at f25 but two things, 1) Do you need to - For this image no, the subject is two feet in front of you, at f8 or f11 you would have got a much stronger result and still got a great picture. 2) At f25 you are pushing your lens to its outer limit and beyond, your lens is not made to work out there, if you want to shoot f25 buy a prime 14mm lens. 18-300mm lens optimal range are made to shoot dependent on the quality of make between f2.8-f22 with optimal being f4 to f16. If I took big landscapes but would not use anything bigger than f16 now. Most of the time f11 will do.
The image has been taken about a stop and half over exposed as you have virtually no blacks or dark greys in the image. This image would have popped a stopped down. Think how amazing that would look if we see what you eye did. Please don't take this the wrong way as you saw the image, just take a moment to think of what you want out of it and make it work for you not the camera. |

Oh my, that is good, So 1960 detective series or early James Bond film, The position and shape of the model is spot on and the mysterons lights are great. These little hairs on her arms are just magic, I am so glad you left them. This works on all levels. |

Your conversion and handling is spot on and the background has been done well. I do like her hand position as that would have been so easy to get wrong. I also like the way you have blended in the edge of the dress. Nice one. |

Your compositing is very good and your tones seem to be just right, the quality is good considering this is an iPad. |

I am not the one to start the comments on this as I am not a fan of toning, the original is a master piece and he is a wonderful character and I would have loved to judge the original. Sorry but can I have the original. |

There is a good contrast between the steel of the building and the mud in the foreground. The foreboding sky does add to the image. |
