33 Feb 24 Reply Normally 1000x1000pixel. But as close to 1mb as I can so you can see the largest file. If you right click on your ready to upload file, at the bottom of the list you will see properties. Here you can see file size and image size to double check.
Colour images are normally 800x800 pixel to 1000x1000 pixels, but on occasions slightly smaller.
Monochrome is normally 1000 pixels to 1200 pixels.
This is all at quality 12.

hope that helps.

33 Feb 24 Comment The build is in a nice position on the shore line and I like the way you have held the image with the tree in the bottom left. But I find the colour image a touch flat and think you missed a trick as this suits monochrome. Feb 13th
33 Feb 24 Comment My first thought was "What storm hit this" not sure I would want to go in that tree house, but it does set the scene and the colours and light are very good. You do have a second image if you crop but that is postcard and does not tell the story of what you saw. Feb 13th
33 Feb 24 Comment This is a great architectural image, the strength of the main image hold the image for the main event which is the reflection of the building, this is as perfect as you can get. I do wonder how good this would look in Monochrome. But a fabulous image. Feb 13th
33 Feb 24 Comment This is lovely and tranquil, you have not done the usual and slowed it all down which is great and just left it at the right speed to give us the feeling of the waterfall. You have held all the greens and vegetation perfectly. One for the top album. Feb 13th
33 Feb 24 Comment Another fine image of these famous monastery, there lives must have been harsh, you have to wonder how many took the quick way down. The light has caught them well. Feb 13th
33 Feb 24 Comment There does seem to be some lovely colours within this image. I do think you could have moved to your right as the image is that view not the tree on the left. That receding mounting range is lovely. But could we please upload larger images so we can see these better. This is way to small. Feb 13th

39 Feb 24 Comment This does work well as a minimalist image and has a lovely feel to it, I would just bleed off the hedge on either edge a touch come so it fades away, then it all comes down to the framing and printing as this will sell well. Good image. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment Keep quite she has not noticed you, good shot and lovely detail where it matters, works very well as a conversion to monochrome. If anything it brings the cat more out . Lovely image. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment We don't have enough of this lying around any more, all been scrapped. I love old machinery images, specially in monochrome, they just have a life of there own. So many questions of what, why, and when. The great engineering and it is just left to rot for us the photographer to find. Thank you for sharing, as you can tell I am a fan. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment I think this is a well composed scene that has a problem for me. The star of the show is that lighthouse and should be where the eye goes, but when I view this image I am hit by a wall of bright rock that is out of focus and my eye gets stuck. That is a shame as this is a strong image. Taking most of the foot rock away helps for me. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment Must admit my first thought was Scotland, then realized it cannot be, I think you have done well with this monochrome and bar using something like luminosity mask that will separate each individual tonal area out for individual adjustment, your result is good. The recession is there to the main point of interest the mountain in the distance. I am going to argue the other way, the colour image specially the autumn colours just blend into each other and become a mass of mess to my eye. With the monochrome you pick up details all the way through the image. A difficult image to process. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment This is a lovely monochrome, the texture and lighting is spot on and the framing with the reeds is very good. It may be nice if the camera was about two inches higher but that is picking holes. I may have removed the two wires. But I would have loved to have taken this one. Good image. Feb 13th
39 Feb 24 Comment Thank you but I think the one on the right will hit you with her hand bag when she gets her breath back. lol Feb 5th
