I love your eye for an image and the three items do sit well, it is a shame you did not take a couple of steps to the left the get the symmetry spot on. If there was not other trees i wonder if this would be stronger in landscape. But does make for a abstract image. I would love to see this do the club circuit in the UK so the judges over here could judge it and record all there comments. Would make for an interesting read. |

I will let you go first. lol
That is a good picture that could be great, but you are losings the bridge as you are being dominated by the rocks.
Tone down the brightness of the rocks so the bridge can stand out more. You will not lose the power of the image more in fact improve it. I would show you but could not do the adjustments with such a small file. |

WOW! Do I need to say more.
I know this is picking little holes, but if you put that lighthouse on the right third line the image with increase in power ten fold.
Wonderful. |

As we approached to lost island that appeared on the horizon our hearts raced with anticipation. Well that is the feeling you get from this image. Just has that feeling of a secret island that may be full of treasure or dinosaurs or both. You control of the water adds to the feeling and colour and tones all help. Where is that movie producer when you need one. Love it. |

It is a nice choice of angle with the other temple on the hill, the garden adds good scale and shape to the image, I am not a fan of the brown hedge, shame you did not have a wider angle lens on. I would straighten the vehicles as it is leaning to the right, good colour and detail. |

There is nothing quite like sitting on top of a hill and looking over and mist layered valleys with these secrets rise plumes of smake from the hidden houses in the woods blows, you can lose yourself in dreams and wonder. You have captured that magic layer of mist and tree top with the occasional plume, you have a lovely splash of colour to the foreground and to the horizon, but not so much to the middle ground.
Must have been a wonderful moment in time to see and breath in. |

I have always wanted to own one of these with a perfect car underneath it. Preferably a Type C, Type D, or a Make 2 in maroon. For me three of the most beautiful car ever built. They all have one of these sitting on the front of them. You have shown it off well and proud. It is a magnificent car mascot and I am always draw to them. Beautiful. |

The question's is, What are you intending to do with the images. If you want to enter in competitions as a pictorial image then remove the Gull as you have done in the second version. But don't be tempted to enter as NH. If you want to use as natural history then go square format and crop the Gull. For me I would use this image as a deep monochrome image as the depth of the bear and the splashes of the water hold well and make for a great deep monochrome image. |

I use to love doing this type of image with girls that had hair of the right style, you have capture her well but you lighting is flat.
One way is the 45 degree angle light, but the one I use to like was a light directly from the side of the hair and a reflector from the other side and then a spot light on the background to do separation.
But what can you do with this, well she is nice and you can relight it. I am only using a low res image but had a quick fiddle. |

Well you did your objective and have some nice detail on the creature. Should of been fun trying to get this right. |

Your Photoshop work is well done on this and I am not a great lover of sepia but this works.
This is a wonderful image of a moment of time. Think this would do well on the circuit. Well done. |

Those stamen are beautiful and stand out for me, you know about the bright spot, and some of the background does draw the eye, but this is a lovely conversion. Even the dead fly is nice. I do like the HDR in lightroom. |
