33 Sep 23 Comment This is a lovely monochrome image of the city scape. You have a good lead line with the line in front of you and a secondary one with the fence off to the right. The buildings are great with lots of detail and foliage does not over power. Strong image. Sep 14th

33 Sep 23 Comment This has the feeling of being down deep in a valley where it is damp and dark. The greens are rich and the tones on the rocks are nice and dark, I do think you have slowed the water a touch to much. A touch more action in the water would lift this image. I do wonder if we could have seen a touch more of that nice branch at the top. But a fine moody image. Sep 14th

39 Sep 23 Comment This image is a great example of the power of black and white, you strip away all the colour and you are left with three things, structure, tone & light and here we have all three but dominated by the light. Your removal of all other information just leaves us to revel in the joy of those three elements. Deep Joy. Thank you. Sep 14th
39 Sep 23 Comment I am going to stand up for version 1. I like the starkness it gives where as you say V2 gives this more open feel to the place. But it is start and derelict and broken, run down and its the sort of view you would get if they did a pan up in a movie. I really like V1 as it has this great feel about it that you lose when you open up. Sep 14th

39 Sep 23 Comment Is it looking at you going Yum Yum Yum. Very well taken, pin sharp and perfectly placed in the frame and the tree is a great complement to the bird. But on this occasion I prefer the colour version. Sep 14th
