Another stunning moment of time in the Alps. Stunning colours and reflection.
Then you have the debate of the foreground, for me it does give the depth of the image and shows off the size of the lake, if you wanted to please judges then remove it and crop the top to make a letter box image, but do you lose to soul of the place and where you were for the purpose of a pretty picture? |

With the image you presented there is a problem with the crop at the top, this is down to the whole image as you follow the route through the rocks to the top and no room to go over. So adding 2mm would make the different and not hive you a vast space of white. But there is such a lot to look at on the mountain. |

Just lush!!!!
Not much more to say accept I wish I had taken it.
If you were going to use this for competition one thing that would hold it back from awards is that touch of rock bottom right. They would use that dead space as an excuse. |

I lust love these shots, my style of image, the only thing to say is I would not have cropped the back of the Crains off. |

Hi Keith, love the colours in this and the strong dynamic the three boats make as a triangle. How I do find your darks a touch blocked out and a touch of work in just that area could bring more out, this would be done better with the raw file. But I have had a go to see if I can show what I mean. Also a slight crop off the foot and right side so the small dingy sits on the bottom horizontal line and the rower on the verticle third line. Gives a much stronger balance. Nice image though. |

You have captured the scene well and have good tone. The tree, farm building and back fence has good relationship and good line, but I fine the front fence a bit of a black, so what would have happened if you walked up to the fence a took the picture again? |

I quite like this, full of tones and texture and you did well to pull this out of the Original, what makes it for me is the shadow of the darker wood coming over the stones like a dangerous monster. Nice one. |

You have captured a good moment in time when they all wait for the puck to dropped in, shame you don't have the puck dropping. Great tones. |

Very good idea and nearly executed well, for me the problem is you reduced the whole image and there is no weather for the reduction, if you had held the blacks back a touch it would have made a lot of different.
Do you know how to do snow, if not some good youtube vids for it, would add the weather to lift the image. |

I had to think about this one for a while, it just did not sit comfortably with me and I could not feel why. Then it hit me it that building on the right, it too bright and powerful in the image and is drawing you away from the main image which is the Sign and the three tower. So I wanted to try a different alternative where less is possibly more. |
