I cannot help but have a little chuckle at this image, as I can see a judge standing there and saying, "Only if you took a few steps to the left to get a better angle", it one of those images you know it would happen.
Its a wonderful image, it shows what it feels like when you come round a corner and see you goal for the first time, for me the tones are just right for the bright sunny days in the Alps as the top of the mountains are not hard, but soft in the sun glaze. Does have a great feel. Thank you. |

This is a nice shot, what a great position to get into. The colours are great and the reflection work very well, the building on the right is falling down so some gentle straitening needs doing. I would like to get a touch more tone into the buildings on the left as they would have been some shadow. Had a go. But fantastic image just needs some gentle help. |

Wow they have had a tidy up, or you have been busy with PS. It is very difficult to get a good picture of this nowadays. I am very interested to what that is on the shoreline, is that an angle of the blue damaged boat.
This is well taken, could have just a touch more contrast, must be winter as very few boats in the bay and the lack of people. But nice image of the boat shed. Well done.
I see another couple was rescued off the causeway from their car. When will they learn. |

Another well taken image with good control of the water and holding of the rocks and the colour around. But I don't know why but I get this feeling niggling me that the sea does not like the rocks and like you dipping your toe into a hot bath, should I. I am old. The detail is wonderful as usual. |

Most of the images you see of this is either in bright sunshine and or snowstorm. It is nice to see how its normal sits in cloud and mist. This is why I think there are so many tales about it.
Your work has not overpowered or altered the feel you captured; Well done. |

I have looked at this for a while over the last few days which is what I like to do.
I think what is wrong with this image is in the words used in the comments, "Good", "Nice". Its not wow or beautiful. You have not helped yourself by putting your john doe on the right where you already have quite a mess with the overgrowth. I do think you have missed a trick in the taking of this. If you had lifted the camera a touch so you had not cut off the tip and moved the camera round more to the left and used that natural line of trees you would be heading towards the "Wow" They always say measure twice and cut once and we are all guilty of that.
I do think that if you crop a Slither off the left and foot and crop all the rubbish off the right you have a very pleasing image. But we know who you are. It is a good attempt. |

Oh WOW! Green, Envy, that must have been one magical moment. This is one for the wall as ever time you look at it you must have a smile on your face. Fabulous. |

A few hundred meters down the path from where my image was taken is another chapel that is the same size and shape that was used by the miners but not so posh.
You have captured this well and the detail is spot on but what make this image is having the altar in the image. Very pleasing image to view.

You have captured the scene well and the detail is spot on, this is how the buildings feel and you have captured that well. |

STicking image of the Water Lillie, very difficult to get right as so easy to blow out the highlights as so delicate. I quite like both crops, and both would do well. |

This is a very nice moment in time, The tones and detail are nicely handled, you do leave the viewer with a lot of question as to why she is like this as we are lucky to have your notes, viewers would not. You will have to think had about your title. Striking image. |

Well it was well worth going a taking these buildings, they do stand their ground well, very good detail and strong lines, I quite like the two white spots on the rails as they lead the eye from the bottom. I would remove the wire. Silver Efex problems, there is a slight halo on the left and right edge of the big barn but only minor and you have the dreaded tree white line. These can all be removed easily with the clone stamp tool. Strong monochrome. |
