We in the west look at this and would say what a poor standard of education they are having, but then you look at this image and you see all the happy faces and you have to ask who is having the poorer education as our children are not this happy.
Those three boys in the centre that standout make this image, but I do find the child bottom right a touch disturbing with the harsh defocus. But a great social image. |

Your camera control on this is brilliant, the light must have been a nightmare. I agree it is amazing what our eye see different in the world arounds us, most of us would not have given this a second look, real shame you did not notice the jar on the end as it breaks the symmetry in the wrong way. Its also a shame that you found this and did not turn the end one the right way up and do another image with a different slant. But we never think of these things till we get them home one the computer or darkroom.
Very intriguing that holds its own. |

BEAUTIFUL! Now how well will it print. If it does enter it in all the print comps you have a winner. Then do one large and hang it on the wall and smile. |

Well if this was from a negative, you could handle a film camera. lovely detail and the relationship between the two gargoyles is great. Now the question is, what was the specialty of this University when it opened. Witchcraft?
Good monochrome image. |

That is a beautiful Cathedral and I would love to shot this one, I am one for the symmetry shots as that is what the Cathedrals are all about and shows them off to their best. I do hope you took lots of images and did this one as a portrait as well so we get the roof as well.
With this image I have to say I like the people as they give the scale of the place, but I would have sorted the vehicles as they are leaning in places. I also thing this is a lacking a touch of contrast, specially if you look at the originals. The walls could carry a touch more depth to them. I think this would help those amazing details to stand out a touch more. |

That is a good strong monochrome conversion from the original, I love the way nature has given you a perfect pair of pillows and a table cloth. The contrast is very strong and you have just enough detail in the snow to hold the viewer, well spotted abstract image. |
