You say you were not happy with the focusing, not knowing your camera you could always manual focus on the statue at F11 or F8 and it would get the effect. Must admit if I find a picture I really like I will try many shot set-ups. |

The log works just right, it is not stopping the viewer from enjoying the rest of the picture buts does work as a great intro to the image. |

I love the natural lines of this landscape and how it all leads to that gold prize at the end. The reflections are good and the colours are nice. But I do wonder what you could lift out of this in luminosity mask when you can get into every level of green etc. That water would pop. I know it is against the rules but would this look better. Good shot and a nice spot to revisit and watch what the light does all day. |

Wow this looks a nice spot to visit on multiple occasions. The shapes of the far rocks makes for an interesting line to use as your main interest of focus. I look at the foreground beach and its varying shades and wonder if there could be more depth to the contrast and tones.
There is just something that is bugging me, its like an itch you cannot scratch. If you crop away the left-hand side and just leave the right and the gap. This makes for a stronger image. But these are all little niggles and is a good shot of a lovely bay. |

This is a fabulous image, the quality is so good for a drone shot and it shows of the scale and isolation of the farm and how hard it must have been to make this place work. Your composition is spot on with no overlapping and it feels so barren. Love it. |

This is a lovely landscape and you have a lot of interest in the foreground with great detail in the log and water.
I do find the mountain range whites a touch bright and I would have cropped the half tree away on the left. But a lovely scene to see. |

I like this image and yes it can be improved with a crop but then it ruins my sense of humor and removes the alien in the bottom left that they are running away from. The image quality is spot on and could only be improved by nature.
My only wish was that you had a wide angle on the lens so you got the start of the bend in the picture so the raft had somewhere to go. |

This does look like a fantastic place to visit and take pictures. You have done a good effort. But looking at the image the first impact I get is you aloud the camera to focus for you. I would have shot this at F11 and focus on that statue and the rest bar the overhang would be pin sharp. 85mm Lens is an interesting choice, but I always say that you should try fixed lens as you have to frame the image not the lens and you will learn so much more. I may have dropped it just a touch so it has a bit more room at the bottom and I would crop the chimney away on the right. I would also remove the thing dropping down from the tree. As for the sky, you can always go an take another sky and simply drop it in now with PS. Thank you for letting us see the building. |

I will do that next weekend as all my daughters have iPhones. But my phone has a function where you shoot in video and pull still images from the video. I have only had it for a while and not as yet had a play with it. I must get to grips with it. |

Your scene you have chosen is very nice and is a lovely spot to take images. Your original is nicely taken but your conversion is exceptional. The detail and tones you have pulled out of it are immense. Watch your sky, you are on the edge with that and if you look closely you will see some deep lying dust spots. Striking image. |

I love the idea of this image and you have taken it well, the stairs and the surroundings are handled well. But I not a fan of the pose of the model, Feet to hip are ok, but then it becomes a mess, everting seems mashed together and her head leaning back is being affected buy the lights above. A less permissive stance would have suited this with the head more forward and the right arm dropped more to her hip. Sorry. |

Well that has come out well, we would have to have it on a tripod with so many filters on the lens to get anywhere near this. It does give me the feeling of fairy falls. I would like just a touch more tones in the rocks but that is nick picking. This is lovely and I must leave my camera at home and get the Samsung out. |

Another great dune image but with a difference, the silhouetted photographer adds so much to the image and negates the burnt out background. But then you have to ask, you see his footprints up the dune he is on, but how did he get to that dune as there is no other footprints. Love the light and the backdrop for complements the image. |

These are not easy shot to get right and you have a very good effort. You have taken the image at the right time and the light control is good. Yes you have cropped off one claw. The sad thing is that you focus on the wrong bit, if you had clipped the edge of the cage or caught the birds head we would all be singing Dixie, but unluckily you caught the pole and its just lost the important bit the head. great effort though. |
