I must congratulate you on your selection for the colour/monochrome separation as there is not a flaw. You do see these wonderful desplay is nature and you have to capture them, but they never put them in a nice place for you to do that. But you have done a good job here, The colour is nice and the detail is good, I may have move slightly more around to the left to get the show in that gap with the trunks and lose a touch of the white background growth on the left. But strong effort. |

I remember seeing and image nearly identical to this taken by my mother back in the nineties. Very pleasant scene with the boat on the tour round the lake and the castle set just off centre. If this was mine I would use PS to sink that little boat to the right as it spoils the image for me and catches the eye. A little tweak on the dark and light end just lifts the image other than that makes a great travel image. |

Looking at this I thing you have got the shot for the sea and the surf just right, I would try and pull back the highlights a touch as they are very burn out. The problem I have is the main subject matter is very blocked out. Maybe a second shoot for the rocks and then bright the two image together so we have more detail in the rocks and stones so they stand out in the image more would lift the image. Looks like a Flintstone Submarine. |

The image itself sits very well in the frame, the house, grasses and clouds forms a very good image. A fraction earlier or later it would not have sat as well as this as the clouds would not sit as well. I am not the greatest fan of IR but on this occasion this works, the contrast between the sky and the brush with the house in the middles works. But looking at it I would like an uplift in the black black's so the stems and shadows just have a touch more to them. Very good picture to view. |

Well this one works, perfect tranquility. You have set the scene just right with the lead of the front bank's leading the far bank and that wonderful range in the background. The weather has been so kind to you and the light is perfect. But what makes it is those two birds landing on the right, just sets how wild this is. Wonderful shot that I would have loved to have taken. |

I love walking around the coast looking for these type of shots, but they are becoming very far and between in the UK now owing to tourism. You have seen and captured a nice scene, the boats sit well in the image and the surroundings are pleasant. Looking at the image and the histogram, the image is lacking in the dark tones and could do with a touch of tweaking in curve's or levels to give it a touch more depth and the highlights could be pulled back just a smidgen.
If I was taking this I would have tried to get the large boats mask to fall in the gap between the island and mainland so it did not break land but that is just my taste. But pleasing image to view. |

This is a great spot and you have captured it well, but my brain find this very busy in monochrome and finds the differences in the colours helps me view the image more easily. When you view close the detail is very good, but I struggle viewing whole. Sorry. |

I love the angle you have chosen to shot this, it uses the lines of the car well. The relationship of the front architecture and the back windows works so well. With the tones and lighting this is one of those images that will look good in a black frame with and white border on the wall. So I had a go at representing that. |

Living in the UK we have an abundances of castles and forts and only have to travel a few miles to find one. So I to love to travel around photographing them.
You have done well with the amount of detail you have got out of you original image and have a good composition with the people. The sky sits nicely with the image. I like the crop.
You don't say, but do you carry a tripod with you or are these hand held?

I love the moment you have captured and the relationship between the girl and the bubble, this sits all perfectly time and very well captured. I am not a fan of the area to the right and the relationship it is having with the area far left. I found when turning this to a square image and cropped from the left the image and the concentration on the girl and the bubble improved greatly. |

When I open the group page and saw the small thumbnails I thought it ws a row of ice droplets hanging from something, but opening it you see this wonderful view of slipping sand that you have captured and processed to your normal professional standard. I have to agree it dose look like a molten liquid poring out of the top of the dune. Strong image. |

Right place right time comes to mind here. Well captured image, the camera technique sound interesting and puts my poor kit to shame. The capture is spot on which is to be expected with that many frames per second. But you still have to keep it in focus. Well done. I do think the second image fits the sign better but that is my wicked sense of humor coming through. Great image. |

I agree with you 100%. Its always the same you get excited with the action and you capture the horse and rider and then get home and find you have not allowed the room to them to move in. I would have also like a touch of room on the back end. But thank you for the positive comment. |
