I think this is beautiful, your timing with the bee is spot on and the tone of the image is excellent. Just bring out that one flower and the Bee concentrate the eye and the rest just holds to image. With that said I do wonder if it sits better with the right hand side removed as that draws the eye. Wonderful image that the card people would love. |

Your all sitting here in lockdown, not been out of the house for a year now and he puts up a picture like this just to remind us what we are missing. Only kidding.
Some lovely colours and a very nice scene of all the tourist boats heading out. But for me that large rock in the foreground is dominating the image to much and you lose the image behind it. I would crop most of it away and release the image that is there. |

That does sound like an interesting project/full time job that sadly may never be completed if my country is anything to go by. The picture is nicely composed and frame well with the tree and shows off the memorial well. |

I watch the Admirals Cup whenever it is on the TV and am amazed at the speed these modern yachts get to. You have capture this well with a nice hold on the background, It is a shame the top of the center building is missing as that would have made a great balance to the image. But the colour and quality is there.
I do have a question. Why do the two boats have a hook on top of the mask and the British boat does not? |

I look at this and two things cross my mind, I am so glad that I don't have to live in a place like this and the second is more evil as coming down that road in a Lamborghini Hurricane at 3 a.m.
The image is a great travel image and shows off the housing and situation well, the shape the road makes it and is helped by the signs, the taxi makes for great scale. Very good monochrome. Great placement of the word slow. |

He looks a fine fellow and she must be tied out from all the tupping. She is now busy have his lambs. Great detail in the fleece and nice face contact. Great record/specimen shot. |

These do make for striking subjects to photograph, you have chosen a good angle to shot this one and the symmetry works really well. |

Hello Jerry, I can only be honest and for me I am not sure this works, I don't think there is right tonal range to hold as a monochrome image, you have black for the background and the lighter end of the grey scale for the rest so for me lacks the impact or subtleness an image like should have. Sorry. |

Another fine dune shot, maybe not as strong as the last one, but still a great shot, I do prefer this as a mono owing to that lovely tuft of grass which you lose the detail in the colour. But in your highlights i would love to see a touch more detail if possible. But again some marvelous lines. |

David this is a good effort, but I am going to start off with a question. What is in 2 but not in original?
Answer to Missing Shadows .com
If you put the shadows back which is easier than you think, thier are a lot of good videos on you tune to show you how to do this, this image would then sing. As it is you have a 2D car sitting on a second image, shadows make an image. Put them in you will have a winner. |
